Refunds + credits.
The short version: payment is non-refundable, but it never disappears. If you're not picked for the curated group, or if you cancel, the amount rolls over as credit toward a future Sunday. No refunds. No expiration. Below is the long version with the edge cases.
What you're paying for
When you RSVP to a gathering, you're paying the published price for that plan. That price covers:
- Our organization and curation work.
- Everything that happens at the Sunday itself: the activity materials (flowers, easels, range balls, jewelry-making supplies, etc., depending on the plan), a drink, and the experience itself.
The exact contents of each price are described on the plan card before you RSVP.
If you're not picked
Each women's gathering has twenty spots available (six for mixed gatherings), curated from the full RSVP list by hand. If you RSVP but aren't selected for that Sunday's group, your full payment is automatically converted to a Doing Things credit.
- The credit is applied automatically the next time you RSVP.
- No code to remember, no claim to file.
- Credits do not expire.
- Credits are non-transferable — they stay with the email address you RSVP'd under.
If you cancel before the reservation deadline
Reservations close one day before each Sunday (at midnight Pacific Time, the night before the gathering). If you cancel before that cutoff:
- Your payment converts to a Doing Things credit for a future Sunday, on the same terms as above. No expiration. No transfer.
- To cancel, reply to your RSVP confirmation email or write to hi@doingthings.club.
If you cancel after the reservation deadline
After the cutoff, the group has been curated, group reveals have gone out, and your spot is reserved. Cancellations after this point are accommodated case by case, but generally:
- If we have a waitlisted member who can take your seat: credit issued, full amount.
- If we don't have a replacement and the gathering is within 72 hours: half credit, since we've already paid for materials and locked in venue costs.
- Emergencies (medical, family, etc.): write to us. We don't hold these against you.
No-shows
If you're selected, your seat is reserved, and you don't show up without notice, the seat is forfeit. No refund, no credit, no rollover. We hold the seat warm for the group; the rest of the table is counting on you to arrive.
If we cancel
We may cancel a gathering for reasons including weather, venue unavailability, illness, or insufficient participation. If we cancel:
- Every paid attendee receives a full Doing Things credit, applied automatically the next time you RSVP.
- If you would prefer a refund instead of a credit, write to us within 30 days of the cancellation. We will honor those requests when Doing Things has cancelled the gathering.
Chargebacks
If you have a billing problem, please write to us at hi@doingthings.club before filing a chargeback with your card issuer. Most issues are quickly resolved with a credit or a refund. Chargebacks filed without prior contact may result in your membership being suspended.
